A holistic view of health

Health is a dynamic, all-round balance: unstable and complex.

Our body has a natural capacity to adapt and defend itself. The naturopathic approach seeks to give it, by entirely natural means, the resources and the right conditions to maintain or recover that balance.

Food, physical activity, rest, breathing, emotional balance and various natural techniques can all be called upon and adapted to each person’s needs.

The aim is not only to act on what is wrong, but also to preserve what works, to support the body’s natural capacities and to foster better health over time.

How does a naturopathy session work?

1. Taking stock of your balance

The first step is the vitality assessment: an in-depth conversation to understand how you function as a whole.

Food, sleep, physical activity, digestion, breathing, emotional state, pace of life… Every element is taken into account to build a clearer picture of your constitution and to identify the points that need particular attention.

2. Working out the right support for you

From that assessment, together we decide on the priorities and the approach best suited to your situation.

The lifestyle programme may cover food, physical activity, sleep, stress management and emotional balance. Where relevant, it can also include various naturopathic techniques and courses of treatment adapted to your needs.

The aim is not to change everything, but to put realistic, lasting habits in place, at your own pace.

3. Supporting the body’s natural capacities

Naturopathy pays particular attention to the organs of elimination, or emunctories (the liver, kidneys, intestines, lungs and skin), which naturally help the body clear waste and keep its balance.

Depending on your situation, the support may aim to support these functions and to encourage the body’s natural ability to adapt and regulate itself.

Prevention and independence

Naturopathy is first and foremost about prevention and health education.

It is about understanding how you function, identifying what can undermine your balance, and acquiring habits that let you take care of it in the long run.

You leave with practical guidelines, adapted to your daily life and your circumstances.

What you gain from it

Knowing your body better, how it works, its potential and its limits, also means a better understanding of what it needs.

Naturopathy offers simple guidelines and practical answers to everyday questions, to help you make the right choices for you and gradually become more independent in looking after your health.

A complementary approach

These forms of support are part of an approach based on prevention, wellbeing and guidance, alongside other treatments.

They are no substitute for seeing a doctor. They work alongside medical care, never instead of it.
